I’d just read the comment immediately before mine where the poster wrote that Zillionaire was the best ABC release ever. Hmmm.
At the time Zillionaire was hitting the market, I was already leaving the US, not to return for a few years.
To this day, I’ve still never heard this LP, aside from a song here or there from BTG. I’ll have to prioritize finding a complete copy of Zillionaire for my audio enjoyment, haha.
Thanks, Paul!
Thanks so much Paul.
A great song from their best album IMHO. Was a new dawn for ABC. The album still sounds momentous even after all these years.
I’m in 2 weeks isolation after getting back from London last week, and at least I have some amazing music to listen to, thanks to you.
Greetings from Australia, John.
Hi Paul,
Thanks once again great upload, and to repeat in difficult times!
(In 7 days self isolation as we speak)
regards
Kev
Thank you, the Nickel & Dime mix is still not yet on CD.
I remember this song I had the 7″ couldn’t find a 12″ anywhere thanks for posting.
Paul, thanks a zillion for this post. I love ABC and especially their singles “Ocean Blue”, ” Tower of London” and “King without a Crown”.
Back in the 80s the most famous Berlin Chart Show was called “Hey Music”, they used “Tower of London” heavily as background music and for jingles … your post brings that time back which is so special.
Stefan
Thank you, Paul. This track slipped by me back in the day, but I really like it. Stands strong among ABC’s other hits. Thank you for sharing this – a true bright spot in my day.
What a treat!
Thank you Paul.
Any chance of The Look Of Love (1990 Mix) from the 12″ UK?
That would be wonderful, as that full 12″ version also is not yet on CD.
Thanks for pointing that out, never noticed that.

There’s a YT vid that has the full vinyl version as opposed to the cd single version if you want to hear what you’re missing.
Actually, the videos are all mislabled due to an error from one of the compilations. I have the 12 inch, and will be transferrring it, if anyones interested.

The one I grabbed years ago was one of those ones where someone places their lp on the turntable and you watch the record spin (if you choose to) while listening.
Hi Tim,
Yes, there is actually 1 version that is the correct one from jul 16, 2016.
It shows the Promo version, but it does not show it playing on a turntable. Its just the label.
Anyway, this version doubles the count at the beginning, and has more instrumental breaks throughout it.
Thanks.

extraordinary theme Paul, how not to taste it, at full volume, thanks
Like others, your posts really help me cope during this stressful time. I am so grateful to you Paul for such amazing music and mixes. This song is phenomenal and I love the whole sound to it.
Thanks again and please everyone stay safe.
Jeff
Music helps us to heal and stay calm. Stay safe my good friend 🙂
hi paul, during this troublesome time for everyone. i hope you are staying safe, and are being healthy. same with all the viewers of your blog. it’s a very worrisome time, but your music rips always bring a nice break from the events of the day. i’m glad you’re continuing with more classic tracks, like this ABC release. To me the American releases weren’t as good as the UK ones, but at least they were better than most of their other releases. for some reason i liked the rich, money themed songs at this time. like for example, pet shop… Read more »
Thank you -1 hope you are staying safe. I too like the European releases even the artwork is a bit better. I am not certain if all of the track on this twelve were released internationally on othe twelves.
Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve been wishing for a rip of this one in lossless for ages 🙂
You’re welcome, Ian 🙂
Absolutely fantastic choice! Kind regards from “shut-down” Austria.
I think the USA is on its way to be shut down as well. We are all in this together take care and stay safe 🙂
Thanks, Paul! I loved ABC’s hits and this is probably my favorite. So many mixes released back in the day. 🙂 The instrumentation on this song was so awesome! Check out How To Be A Trillionaire (Harajuku Mix) which is likely my favorite.
On a side note, I’m catching up to you, Paul! I turned the big 50 this weekend!
Happy Birthday, Fred! I found its just another day lol
Thank you Paul for sharing with us such great rips. In these times of trouble we need things like that to get other thoughts. Your blog is so much important. Awesome remixes.
It’s always my pleasure Daniel. Stay safe 🙂
Thanks Paul. I love ABC. Every single by them is a gem. And your vinyl rips are awesome.
You’re welcome, Omar 🙂
