I’d just read the comment immediately before mine where the poster wrote that Zillionaire was the best ABC release ever. Hmmm.
At the time Zillionaire was hitting the market, I was already leaving the US, not to return for a few years.
To this day, I’ve still never heard this LP, aside from a song here or there from BTG. I’ll have to prioritize finding a complete copy of Zillionaire for my audio enjoyment, haha.
Thanks, Paul!

Thanks so much Paul.
A great song from their best album IMHO. Was a new dawn for ABC. The album still sounds momentous even after all these years.

I’m in 2 weeks isolation after getting back from London last week, and at least I have some amazing music to listen to, thanks to you.

Greetings from Australia, John.

Paul, thanks a zillion for this post. I love ABC and especially their singles “Ocean Blue”, ” Tower of London” and “King without a Crown”.
Back in the 80s the most famous Berlin Chart Show was called “Hey Music”, they used “Tower of London” heavily as background music and for jingles … your post brings that time back which is so special.

Thank you, Paul. This track slipped by me back in the day, but I really like it. Stands strong among ABC’s other hits. Thank you for sharing this – a true bright spot in my day.

What a treat!
Thank you Paul.
Any chance of The Look Of Love (1990 Mix) from the 12″ UK?

That would be wonderful, as that full 12″ version also is not yet on CD.

There’s a YT vid that has the full vinyl version as opposed to the cd single version if you want to hear what you’re missing.

The one I grabbed years ago was one of those ones where someone places their lp on the turntable and you watch the record spin (if you choose to) while listening.

Hi Tim,
Yes, there is actually 1 version that is the correct one from jul 16, 2016.
It shows the Promo version, but it does not show it playing on a turntable. Its just the label.

Anyway, this version doubles the count at the beginning, and has more instrumental breaks throughout it.

Thanks.

hi paul, during this troublesome time for everyone. i hope you are staying safe, and are being healthy. same with all the viewers of your blog. it’s a very worrisome time, but your music rips always bring a nice break from the events of the day. i’m glad you’re continuing with more classic tracks, like this ABC release. To me the American releases weren’t as good as the UK ones, but at least they were better than most of their other releases. for some reason i liked the rich, money themed songs at this time. like for example, pet shop… Read more »

Thanks, Paul! I loved ABC’s hits and this is probably my favorite. So many mixes released back in the day. 🙂 The instrumentation on this song was so awesome! Check out How To Be A Trillionaire (Harajuku Mix) which is likely my favorite.

On a side note, I’m catching up to you, Paul! I turned the big 50 this weekend!
