Hi Paul

Thanks for posting this. I have a big Yello collection, including this one, but your rips are obviously much cleaner than mine! I had the pleasure of seeing Dieter Meier in concert last year, and then met Boris Blank a few weeks later at the launch of his Electrified box set. Both were charming and charismatic, cool and stylish. Who says you should never meet your heroes? lol

A new re-rip, that’s always great news! Thanks Paul.
I hope you will re-rip Promises by Streisand soon, we’ve been waiting soooo long for that one…

Looking forward to listening to this. It’s a shame you don’t have any more Yello tracks – I was looking forward to a themed week. Yello are such an underrated band, they were leading innovators of sampling back in the early 80s. I remember reading an interview with them when they said Boris Blank bought a disk of samples for his emulator (when you had to do that sort of thing) and 100 out of the 150 on the disk were sampled from Yello tracks (or something along those lines.) I do enjoy ‘theme’ weeks by the way – hoping… Read more »

Cue the Ear-Gasm!!! Paul, this is a delicious posting. I am floored and now, flushed. What a sexy single this is and I’m so freaking jazzed to hear your meticulous rip! You do make our 12-inch dreams come true that’s the truth. Wow, I feel all tingly! You are unbelievably extraordinary.

Panting!

Jeff
