BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1989
NRG-MIXXX was a Pro DJ Only Remix Service based in Dallas Texas, produced by Tony Nunes & Wayne West. Each single record issue featured tracks, which were all digitally edited and remixed. As always, remixes found on these issues were original and never issued elsewhere.
With this issue you get a fun 16 minute Dead Or Alive “Nude Medley” as well as a great freestyle track from Alta Dustin and a housed up Taylor Dayne Medley.
NRG-MIXXX remix service which was active during the late 1980’s and early 90’s is now like many others no longer in operation.

This is super fun. Thanks very much!
I have my own wav rips of the other 7 NRGMixxx/MixxxMasters vinyls if you want them. Would be great to share with everybody. I simply don’t have time to clean them up.
For a fan of remix compilations, seeing this is gives me sheer delight. I love, love it especially when you get to see unreleased megamixes that are pretty much hard-to-find. Thank you Dj PaulT for this and I hope you’re having a nice weekend. 🙂

Paul, you’re freaking me out now as I have every one of the DOA issues you’ve posted in the last few days and I’m beginning to wonder if you’ve been in my record room! Thanks for the great rips.
I’ve been a DOA fan since 1981 when they first started to appear in a few long-gone magazines and I heard Number Eleven. I remember seeing Pete working in Probe Records in Liverpool back in December 1981 and he looked terrific even then. It’d be great if he’d issue something new.
You always bring a smile to my face Paul!! So fantastic to have a remix service show up on your site. You take such great care of them and then you “resurrect” them in all of you Paulality!!! I am literally speechless by all of your work and commitment.
My heart is pumping with gratitude!!!
Jeff

Man, another DOA rarity? WOW….this is very interesting…I have heard about the Razormaid megamix but not this one. Thanks Paul for another RARE gem! Bless ya!
Thank you Gilber. Enjoy your weekend 🙂
I know that Razormaid also did a Nude megamix that I believe was called the “Partially Nude Medley.”
Yes you are correct VanceMan. Have a nice weekend 🙂
I have all the NRG mix issues in storage. They came and went real quick. It is always a welcome surprise to see you posting tracks from a remix service. I will have a blast revisiting these mixes. Thank you, Paul.
