Hi Sir. There’s chance you reupload the other Then Jerico 12 singles? This I was able to download, but the links to “Big Area”, “Let Her Fall” and other 12 singles you posted are broken. Posted in 2015 yet, when I was not knowing the blog yet. By web the singles only are available by Youtube, there’s not some decent rip being available nor on mp3 format. Youtube quality is awful to listen up in a stereo system. Bad luck for me.

Wow, what a package: gate-fold sleeve, portraits, lyrics, what a great era; Singles were sometimes more elaborate than the album they came from. Thanks for sharing.

Sharing the music is a good way to remember Scott Taylor, the original guitarist, who passed away Monday 27 April 2020, after a two year battle with a brain tumor.

RIP Scott, the music always lives on!

Then Jericho is one of those bands that could have gone on to do much greater things. They had an edge and their lyrics tackled serious subjects. In the ’80s I was lucky to see them on most of their tours. They were also very friendly with meeting fans and signing autographs. In fact when this single was released they did a record signing at my local record store. These were such great times. I saw them on their Big Area reunion tour in September 2012. They still had it and were full of electric energy. Hopefully you will post… Read more »

Hey Paul!
Fantastic post. Then Jerico’s one of my favorite band from the 80’s.
And if you want I can provide you with a cd-rip for this single.
Best regards from Brazil…

Great post. Underrated band, maybe not the greatest in the world but not taken as seriously as they should have been. I remember the music press at the time using terms like “U2-Lite” and “Boy Band With Instruments”. This collab with Belinda Carlisle was supposed to have opened up a new audience for them at a time when her stock was sky high. Didn’t do much for TJ’s street cred though! Mark Shaw’s solo album “Almost” is worth a listen if you can find it, you can see he was the driving force behind the TJ sound especially on the… Read more »

Then I’ll have to admit I was a member of the official TJ Fan Club in 1987! In my defence, I was only 13 at the time! We now need to remove all trace of this comment from the internet…😂 If I remember right, they sent me a newsletter and some postcards. Times like these I wish I’d kept all that stuff for posterity!. As an aside, but in a similar vein, I just played my 7″ of Aslan’s “Loving Me Lately” after many years. Coincidently, it was released almost the same time as this TJ track. Well worth a… Read more »
