“Danger” was the second single taken from “Forever Now” the third studio album by English rock band the Psychedelic Furs, the song was release as a single in a remixed form in the UK while “Love My Way” was released in the USA to coincide with the band’s North American tour.

“Danger” which, with its “headlong pace and slamming beat”, was described by critic Ken Tucker as “the most ferocious, impassioned song the Furs have ever recorded”.

hi paul, i’m a huge fan of the psychedelic furs, i’ve seen them live a few times here in the US. they tour quite frequently, and are still around, having ‘just’ released a new album for the first time in ages last year. i love their middle period, right around this 80s era. a very unique, rough, raw sound that mixes rock, funk, and of course the saxophone that punctuated their music. richard butler had a unique raw gravelly voice, that is very distinct. everyone has heard ‘love my way’ from the 80’s which along with ‘pretty in pink'(remake) are… Read more »
