“Club Country” is a single by Scottish post punk/new wave band The Associates released on April 26th 1982. The song appeared on their third studio album Sulk. “Club Country” debuted on the UK singles chart on April 8, 1982 peaking at #13 becoming the bands second top twenty single in that country.

The b-side track “A.G. It’s You Again” is a remix of “Arrogance Gave Him Up”.

DjPaulT, This blog is insanely awesome! I can’t tell you how many of these vinyls I used to have before my whole stack of 6,000 vinyls was stolen. The rips are perfect and bring back great memories! .T.H.A.N.K. .Y.O.U. .V.E.R.Y. .M.U.C.H. By the way, I love the ON-Usound Megamixes and would love to see more top quality megamixes and remixes of 80s Synthpop. I’ll echo the other posters thanking you for putting these classic Associates 12″ singles up. I still have all these but no turntable. I have these tracks on cd but the 12″ singles sound the best, no question. I hope you can keep this going for a while! Thanks again – The Associates have always been one of my favorite bands!

Now we are mowing in the timeline direction where Associates where very interesting. This timeperiod gave us some very good tunes from them.
