Talk Talk” is a 1982 song by the British New Wave band Talk Talk. It is a cover of a 1976 song “Talk Talk Talk Talk” by British punk group The Reaction, released on the Beggars Banquet compilation album Streets. Released as the second single from Talk Talk’s debut album, The Party’s Over (1982), it peaked at #52 in the United Kingdom upon initial release. It was reissued later in the same year where it peaked at #23 in the UK and #75 in the United States. The single also reached #1 in South Africa in 1983.

Another New Wave band that is so underrated!
I think no band blends New Wave with Melancholia as well as Hollis & co. It’s My Life, Such A Shame and Life’s What You Make It are prime examples.
This was during the first phase of their career where it’s still more New Wave Punk.
Enthralling nonetheless.
