BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1985
REQUEST
“My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me To The Doctor)” is a 1985 song by the British band Dead or Alive. It was the fourth and final single from the band’s second studio album Youthquake. It charted at #23 in the United Kingdom, #12 in Japan, and became a dance hit in the U.S.
The “American ‘WIPE-OUT’ Mix” is about 25 seconds longer than the version that appears on the Japanese 12″ that I posted in 2012 and does not appear on the newly released Sophisticated Boom Box MMXVI because the label was not able to find the master recording. Also of note “Big Daddy Of The Rhythm (Live)” and “My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me To The Doctor) (Instrumental Version)” are new 2016 re-rip transfers.
