Hi Paul,
Thanks for this. I have it somewhere. But don’t remember it all.
So its good that you reminded me of the song. I haven’t heard
the bside at all. So thats cool.
I’m a fan of spandau ballet, but not as big a fan as i am of Duran Duran.
I guess I should check out their albums, because I mostly have their
singles.

Spandau Ballet is great they just did not have the same longevity that Duran had.
Another classic – thank you Paul!
You’re welcome, Jermajesty 🙂
Thanks for this one Paul – excellent restoration!
Thank you, Nubben 🙂
This is so terrific!! I love these early twelves from Spandau Ballet. When I first heard “Chant No. 1” the vocals were so rough sounding. Same with “Paint Me Down” too. That’s why I became so surprised with the later releases by the band because Tony Hadley turned into such a crooner. You’re great Paul because you present different phases of an artist’s career. Like the Pretty Poison record you posted recently. The early records sound so different to what later came to be known. Thanks again for this song. I’m hearing it in my head as I type this.… Read more »
I love the early singles too the band was still evolving I remember in those days you were either on team Duran or team Spandau as the two groups were sort of rivals. 🙂
Stunning capture – loving the last couple of New Romantic posts – thank you
You’re welcome, SuperC 🙂
Awesome, thank you DJ Paul T!
