Rick Astley – Together Forever (Super Dub Remix) (US 12″)

BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1988

Side A

“Together Forever” 1988 Super Dub Remix mixed by Pete Hammond for PWL.

A very rare 12″ release from Crocodile Records in the USA, giving you the very hard to get SUPER DUB Remix of Rick’s US #11 hit single “Together Forever” and a MEGAMIX on the flip side including “Don’t Say Goodbye”, “Never Gonna Give You Up”, “Whenever You Need Somebody” & “Together Forever”.

TThe mastering on this record is pretty good considering it was released on an independant label. There is a bit of a drop out during the end fade of both tracks but it doesn’t really affect the enjoyment of the record.

OMFG! how could i have missed this awesome post! Do you realize how rare this record is specially in a Near Mint condition too. I have not heard of this yet so i cannot comment. All I know on is those days when a promo is carried out, it’s usually under the artist’s home label in this case RCA. So it’s kinda baffling situation. I know this released was much talked about few months back on the Hit Factory Forum. In any case, thank you so much! good or bad, i am so glad for this post. PS. hope you… Read more »

It’s been a while since I posted here, but now I couldn’t resist.
Thanks Paul for the post, but I have to agree with Esmix65…what an awfull mix :-).
But it’s nice to have in the collection so don’t see this as criticism 🙂
I am pretty sure this is a bootleg remix that wasn’t done by Pete Hammond at all in spite what’s on the label.
Pete’s mixes were much cleaner and to the point.
I think in those days the Astley/PWL tracks were all officially released by RCA in the U.S.
Keep up the good work Paul !

Thanks Paul for this post, but …
Well…How can i say this …( i don’t wanna be rude..)
it’s the worst Rick Astley’s remix (?!) i’ve ever heard!
I agree with you, it’s not a commercial release…and i understand why!

WOW! This is another winner with me, Paul!
I was just thinking of the Latin Rascals Remix for Don’t Say Goodbye just yesterday, and wondering if you have that 12″, and then you post this!!!
Hugs going out to you for this, my friend!
I know you’re looking for that other 12″ too, so hopefully you can track it down one day.
BTW, I left a comment on the Cher post yesterday, but it disappeared when I checked again today. Same with the comment I left on DJ Richie’s site…very weird! I thought Halloween is over and done with?

Could someone explain how it is that this record was released on an independent label?
