Awesome Website. Reminds me of; vinyl-mania33rpm.blogspot.com .
One day this blog spot disappeared, nowhere to be found. I think the origin of the blog spot was in Brazil.

That suit on the back side… It’s soooo 80s… Really funny 🙂
Thanks a lot , Paul.
Ronald
Thank you thank you for this – such a treat!
Thanks Paul. 🙂
Great stuff my friend, The “one more night” extended version is better than the original in my opinion.
Thank you Dj
Thanks for fulfilling my request!!
I had this back then, bought it for a steal, consiering it with nowadays money standards. In 1985 it was an awful amount to pay for,in italian currency.Anyway,I remember very well there was the “short” version of Take Me Home, been lookng for it since I had to sell it.Thanks very much Paul,it was a fantastic surprise and a great record to post.A Gem!
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanx a lot dj!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you, Thank you! 🙂
What a treasure found! Amazing sound quality, great 80s mixes, 5 ***** for the remixers and 5 ***** for Pauls presentation!
Some 12″ releases of Sussudio listed on Discogs have different time lengths of the Extended Mix or Extended Remix 6.33 and 6.53, is this the same mix? I assume it’s just a printing typo on some releases.
Thanks Paul. I’ve seen this record over the years but never got it. So cool that it has an alternate version of Take Me Home. Very Cool. I’m glad there is something out there that I didn’t know existed. Also, I was thinking this goes in theme with the recent Prince tribute, considering how close Sussudio sounds to 1999. Part of me thinks he realized this when he wrote it and it as a play on sue-sue-sue-you, because it is so similar in sound. No Jacket Required holds a very dear place in my heart being the first LP I… Read more »
I really hope Phil release in a proper way ALL the B Sides that were left off without a valid explanation from the reissues series… Besides, thanks a lot Paul for sharing these gems!!
Thanks Paul! This is one of my favorite Phil Collins releases. I have the CD version and have ripped it for iPhone and have included the Extended Version of In the Air Tonight as part of the playlist. Great to have the exclusive version of Take Me Home now too!
Great rip and an amazing rar gem Paul. Sussudio could be added to the Prince tribute too 🙂
Great exclusive post Paul. The trivia on ‘Take Me Home’ is completely new to me. Nice find! Thank you.
Fantastic Paul thanks. And great timing too given that Mr Collins has been reissuing his albums this year and shamefully choosing to not include anything with the word “remix”. The NJR “deluxe” had none of these remixes included. Not a single one – just demos and live tracks. But who cares now you’ve posted this gem! Cheers mate.
I also get very mad when artists re-release their “expanded” or “deluxe” or “remastered” cds and 0 of the bonus material are the remixes…just live tracks or sometimes demos/takes. Expose did this last year and left out tons of mixes and dubs while included boatloads of 7″ alternate edits. Back to Phil, I was (and still am) surprised that he never released numerous mixes or dubs or bonus beats, etc. with his 12″ singles. Really surprising since his style of music, the ripeness for remixing, and his huge popularity. Even the Genesis mixes from the 80s only had 1 mix… Read more »

Especially as the live version of Sussudio is almost identical to the 12″ remix version.
I would have loved to have more original 12inch mixes, too. I LOVE 12inches from the Eighties and still collect and trade them.
Thanks for the great rip, Paul! I never knew of this 12″. Also, I notice that the vocals (especially non-chorus) on this version of Take Me Home are significantly lower in volume than the cd release of 12″ers. There are parts that it’s almost incomprehensible. I haven’t checked but it’s likely the same remixer…this doesn’t seem to be an edit as there are some added drums/beats in this version.
Anyway, thanks so much again!! -Fred
Haven’t heard this in years. Forgot how 80’s Sussudio sounded. It’s a shame that all the new Phil Collins remastered cds don’t have any 12″ singles. Thanks Paul anyway. Your work is always pristine.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
David this 12″ contains an exclusive mix of “Take Me Home” not found on the CD. Enjoy! 🙂
Bravo Paul over this release. I really like Phil’s 12-catalog and it’s so superb to have a version exclusive to this vinyl too. You’re always looking out for the best of the best and I’m so grateful. Even yesterday’s posting was such a surprise because that mix was new to me.
Tremendous stuff as ALWAYS!!!
Jeff
You’re most welcome Jeff. Hope you are having a great day 🙂
How funny picked this up on CD a few months back but it’s a bit scratched or has a cover in bad condition can’t remember which. Was looking to replace it. Maybe i won’t bother now! Many thanks.
Also of note Neil the version of “Take Me Home” on this vinyl pressing is completely different than the one on CD and it’s exclusive to this 12″.
Hi mate. Yes i noticed that i did read the post. I know that you’re a perfectionist and i did mean to point out information says ‘funning time’ instead of ‘running time’!
Thanks for pointing that out mate 🙂
You’re most welcome!
