Your previous rip was already excellent !
This is one is even better. Tx for that !
I have this “base” version twice:
And indeed….still no trace on CD !
Could you rip again “Hipsway – Ask The Lord”, please?
It is on my list to give a new transfer 🙂
Incredible rip!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Thank you, Xandi 🙂
Perhaps ungrateful to ask Paul, but in the vein of PSB remixes any chance of posting “Heart (Remix)” ? Many thanks, Nubben
I have plans to give that one a new transfer at some point. Stay tuned 🙂
Excellent – thank you!!!
I could just re-upload it to if you want ?
What a treat Paul! Thank you! PSB always welcome!!!
You’re welcome, Nubben 🙂
hi paul, nice to see another excellent pet shop boys track up here. and one of the rarer ones too. although this remix is, as it says, a little more basic. it’s still good. and it’s nice to hear some demo versions of the songs. they developed a lot of these songs much earlier, and decided to finish them for introspective. in fact, the picture was taken during their 2nd album. i just got their first issue of annually, which shows where all those polaroid pictures came from. there were 3 spanish mixes that were on cassette, they are on… Read more »
The elusive Spanish mixes I doubt will ever see the light of day I am not even sure if they are official that is how obscure they are. Have a great weekend 🙂
Love the Base Mix, Paul. It is my fav of the mixes of this song. Appreciate the new rip – it is exquisite.
Thank you MusicMan3 I prefer this mix too. 🙂
I remember the original transfer you did as I still play it regularly. I always thought the Base Mix was quite unique from the rest of the mixes.
Surprised it still hasn’t been released on CD or digitally either.
Thanks Paul 🙂
You’re welcome, Marco 🙂
I love the banging beats and edits in this remix. Thanks so much Paul!!!!
Have a super weekend!!
Jeff
Have a great weekend, Jeff 🙂
Thanks, Paul!
I only know one song by the Pet Shop Boys but I’ll check this one out seeing as how it’s a rarity and you took the trouble to share it 🙂
I really hope you like it Muff Diver 🙂
Love DD (although it´s not my favourite), love the remix (although I prefer the Alternative Mix), love the b-side (although I prefer the Disco Mix). Looking forward to listening to your new upload – although I loved the original one 😉
Have a wonderful weekend, Paul and Jeff and everyone around. Times have gone even crazier again. Don´t let it get you down.
Song And Dance,
I have really missed you dropping by. You are always so upbeat and positive. Hope you have a great weekend!
Jeff
I think this is my favorite song from them overall, thanks!
I think it is my favorite too. 🙂
What a great, fun track – and a great extended version (with a correspondingly longer music video version out there too)!
Thanks for this delightful gem in outstanding quality, Paul! All the best to you and yours!
You’re welcome, dugn 🙂
