BTG Week Of LOVE!
“Through the Eyes of Love” is the debut solo single by English singer-songwriter John Adams. Adams is the former vocalist of Private Lives, a band that could be seen as forefathers of England’s late-’80s sophisti-pop movement – Johnny Hates Jazz, Living in a Box, etc.. “Through the Eyes of Love” was produced and co-written by Andy Taylor of Duran Duran. Adams was also a support act for Duran Duran in 1987.

Well, you’ve surely made Daniel very happy with this post Paul!! When you started this week of love, Daniel mentioned this single, which got me quite curious. I LOVE when you make your fans happy Paul. You’ve done so much over the years to getting our favorites posted and here’s another to add to the list. Don’t know if I know this one, but by the description and with Daniel’s raves, I know it’s going to be bliss. You are amazing Paul. I can’t wait to get home myself and check this one out as well.
Jeff
I really think you are gonna love this one Jeff. I can’t wait to hear what you think 🙂
Jeff, thank you for your kind words towards me. I think you’re going to love it too. Paul acts like an angel, he makes our dreams coming true and fills our hearts with so much joy. The best thing in life is music. Like John Miles’ song “Music was my first love and it will be my last”.
Hey Guys, I have to say how lucky I am to have discovered this beautiful song courtesy of the two of you. Daniel, like you said, Paul is an Angel!! He really touches on one’s soul with the music he posts. It’s quality, and not just fidelity, but the quality of the song itself. It’s so haunting and gorgeous. I had chills listening to it. I even could say it even brought a tear to my eyes. This is a spectacular piece of music. Oh, and the remix by John “Tokes” Potoker really is grand. I love these ballads with… Read more »
Wow Paul!!! You make me so happy with this wonderful post. It´s another dream coming true. I´ve been waiting for it for such a long time. I write these lines while I´m still in the office. I must hurry up and drive back home. Can´t wait to listen to it. I can never thank you enough. The single wasn´t successful but it got some airplay on german radio stations. The remix by John Potoker just blows me away. Right now I feel so good. Paul you are my hero.
You’re most welcome Daniel. I love this song too and you are right the remix makes it even better. Andy Taylor did a great production job as well. Right now this is my new favorite 🙂
Just arrived back home and downloaded your rip. It sounds fantastic!!! I’m drowning in musical ecstasy. I’m going to listen to it over and over and over. Paul you made my day becoming perfect. And I’m so glad that you love it too.
