The extended break from 3’20” to 4’37” on this version is incredible and unique to this mix. Sounds soooo good with headphones on. Thanks for posting

There’s also a UK Extended Remix of this track. Most of her mixes and rarities can be found on “Stronghold – The Collectors Hit Box”, which I highly recommend. https://www.discogs.com/de/release/1067301-Jennifer-Rush-Stronghold-The-Collectors-Hit-Box

“She saw her greatest success in Europe, particularly Germany.” Jepp.

I’m a child of the 80s and I remember that Jennifer Rush (a lot of people here in Germany also know her real name – Heidi Stern) was a permanent guest in a lot of music shows. “Ring of Ice” stayed in the Germany Top 100 for 18 weeks. On December 3, 1984 – almost exactly 38 years ago – the highest ranking was 22nd place.

Thank you Paul!! Jennifer Rush doesn’t get the credit she deserves, especially for having a worldwide hit and songwriting credit for The Power Of Love. Long before Celine Dion did!

Thanks for this! I never would have thought that you had records from JR, which was particularly successful in Germany. Greetings

Hi Paul. So glad to hear this record for the first time. I do know Ms. Rush and remember that this was a single for her. Gosh, I used to remember so much of what got released. Even if not getting the chance to hear the songs. I hate growing old!!

Thank you, Paul, for the introduction of possibly a new favorite!!

Thank you, Paul, for this. I have this 12inch but had completely forgotten how good the b-side is. I have a couple of JR 12-inches. “Destiny” was great as well.
