Thanks! HitHouse my favorite!!
Great work. =)
Just got finished listening to your latest Paul and I have to say that it’s great fun!! Gosh, I’m trying to remember some of the songs that contained all the samples Peter Slaghuis used. They all sound so very familiar but I’m having trouble to remember the records precisely. It all put a Cheshire Cat smile on my face. I would have loved to hear this in a cavernous club-type setting. And Acid, was so crazy, like a taffy pull with all the grey and white matter of the brain. It’s all so trippy. And I love that “Serious” sample.… Read more »
Thank you Jeff. I wish I could help with the samples but I am not familiar with most of them. I was never big into acid house but it was a big part of 80s culture and I had to be presented on BTG. 🙂
I am not a big fan of acid, but Peter Hithouse (English translation for his Dutch surname “Slaghuis”; Slag = hit/percussion, huis = house) was the best Dutch mixer of all time both in choice of tracks as well how he painted them together in sound.
I look forward to see some of his awesome Discobreaks in good quality rip, or Remix collection (I do not know if these version are on vinyl somewhere).

I am not the biggest acid house fan either Martijn van Heeringen. I felt that is part of 80s culture so I needed to post some. I also agree he was a great remixer/producer 🙂
Excellent!!! thank you Paul.
You’re welcome Guss 🙂
Love the way every late eighties dance single had to have an acid mix!
Me too SimonP 🙂
