Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoyed the block of Pseudo Echo singles over the past couple of weeks. It was fun for me to work on these records, some of which I had not listened to in quite a while. Pseudo Echo deserves more attention, for sure. I will be doing more artist spotlights now and then in the future. If that is something you guys like, let me know in the comments.
I have had a few things going on this week, including appointments and some work going on at my house, so today I will not be posting. I will be back next week as usual with a whole new week of posts. In the meantime, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Awesome as always Paul! Such a treat to get these high quality 12″ rips!
Awesome, how I missed this from my music radar I do not know, cannot even remember it from my youth
Very good idea!
Thank you very much for you great job!
If you are taking requests : Divine, Imagination
Greetings from France
Hey, thanks for the Pseudo Echo posts. We are actually going to see them live on Friday night this week 🙂 Only original member is the vocalist Brian Canham, His voice is still excellent.
If you’re taking requests, Queen, Duran Duran or Huey Lewis and the News would be cool.
Thank you for doing what you do.
I appreciate you!

Pseudo Echo is an amazing band that deserves the spotlight, it will interesting to see what you pick in the future to spotlight. .I think the odd artist spotlight would be very welcomed. Thanks for all your hard work.
I am easy, take what comes cause I am just on the outside and peering in over the wall, I jump the wall when nobody is looking a pick a peach from the garden when I think nobody is looking. Since the can of worms has been breached (I am sure you didn’t mean for it to be)…. but some of us (me) are greedy poachers, I vote for rarer stuff… when you get onwards of 15k -20k or more songs from the era, it is the edge/lesser known groups that get more valuable to find… Even if you have… Read more »
Really love the Pseudo Echo. Thanks for this whole site. I especially like anything solidly post-punk or new wave. Even reposts of anything you had before (yes, I’ve dived all the way down to page 589.) But everything here is great, thanks again!
Some Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your weekend.
jep, thats also an good idea
artist spotlight is an great idea and some good names have already been mentioned. Among other things, I would like to see a few singles from the early days of Human League (first two albums) and definitely Talk Talk.
Hi Paul,
Last night it came to me. I would love to see more Yello on your site.
And also, I know you have some remix services, so could you, sometimes, could you rip them? Not that you have to rip the entire package because that really is a lot of work, just maybe a side or two. That would be nirvana for me and others here too!!
Enjoy your weekend and thank you again for being so awesome!!
Jeff
I missed downloading this and would love to hear a rip with your new turntable. Thanks.
Dennis Edwards Featuring Siedah Garrett – Don’t Look Any Further (Europe 12″)
Thanks again for the Pseudo Echo singles block! Sometimes it’s nice to dig deep rather than go wide. To echo (pun intended) a lot of great requests below, if you ever feel like doing a deep dive into Elton John and David Foster (both solo and producer) I’ll take care of your housework myself, Lol! Have a great weekend, and you too Jeff, Martika and everyone else here!
Thanks for all the pseudo echo posts. I remember Funky Town from back in the day but had never really explored their other stuff. This has started me down the rabbit hole. Ordered their best adventures CD to start with. Loving the 12″ versions.
The best blog i have ever seen. Thanks for all your work Djpaul. Greetings from Puerto Rico and if you had something by Brenda K. Starr that would be fantastic.
Hi paul,
please see if you can get to some of these:
blondie
thompson twins
more 70s – herb alpert
pet shop boys

Block of The Cure please… thanks
Thanks for the Pseudo Echo flood!
I would love to see some early Big Audio Dynamite, myself. Have a great weekend, Paul!
Thanks for the Pseudo Echo posts! Please consider an artist spotlight on Wa Wa Nee In the future.
Second this one.
A nice Weekend for you too. A batch of the rare ones of Simple Minds or even better Peter Gabriel or David Bowie are my wish. Thanks for your hard work.
Great run of PE posts, some i have missed but will catch-up on soon.
I think it’s a neat idea to focus on a single artist, and i would love a run of Tears For Fears posts, although i know you have posted them before.
Thanks for an incredible week, Paul 🙂
Paul, the artist spotlight on Pseudo Echo was great. Yes, please do future spotlights for other artists!
Good luck with your house and the other life matters.
Thanks, as always, for all the great music you share with us.
MAny thanks for the awesome Pseudo Echo rips, much appreciated!!
Hi Paul. I think the artist spotlight idea is great!!! Peace
Yes, that was definitely exciting and interesting! I actually learned a few new things along the way!
I think what added to the excitement is that these remixes aren’t readily available on the internet, streaming services, and compilations, especially not in superb quality! That’s why I love your site so much. You focus on hard-to-find (or even impossible-to-find) material!
Love the Artist Spotlight! Thanks for doing such a great job on bringing the lost art of the 12″ back to the fore!
I’ve got a soft spot for Samantha Fox and other dance divas from the 80s. But mainly Sam 😉 Not all of my favorite remixes made it to the deluxe reissues.
You’ve introduced me to so many great things over the years, that I’m happy with everything you do!
Sam Fox was nice.
Have a fantastic weekend, Paul, and thank you for all the Pseudo Echo posts. Sadly, this band was overlooked, but you are giving the attention they deserve might help them become more appreciated.
Have a nice weekend, as well, to Song And Dance, Retro Hound, Martika, Daniel and others. You guys are all great!
Jeff
Yes Paul the artist focus thing was and is a great idea. I won’t make suggestions like others but rather wait to be surprised by your future choices! Have a great weekend back atcha.
I would love to see those Huang/Wang Chung singles you posted long ago dusted off and refreshed for 2024 😎
Same to you. You already know me, I’d love a full block on Huang Chung. Mainly just a cleaned up rip of their first album. The UK master is far better compared to the later US pressing and by extension the CD. But having their original singles would be pretty cool as well. I own a couple of them, I just don’t have equipment as nice as yours to do them justice, at least I know how to use RX tools. Another artist I wouldn’t mind having a spotlight on would be Rick Astley. Also if you’ve got any good… Read more »
Love the artist spotlight idea, especially when it involves digging a little deeper for some hidden gems
Dear Paul, each of your contributions is appreciated and of course when you give us news or great memories. Especially those 12-inch versions that we danced to. Rest easy and we will follow your contributions. Greetings.
Love the artist spotlights Paul. Would love to see a series of The SOS Band 12 inches or maybe an Elton John series with his early 80s 12 inch mixes. More specifically 12 inches that are not available on CD or digital platforms.
Paul, yes, Pseudo Echo deserved the attention, thanks, good luck with your appointments, etc. thanks for all the great music.
I’d love to see you do a block of Jesse Johnson, Jermaine Stewart & Georgio.
