Burning The Ground Exclusive 1984
The Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 were the first to invite women to compete.
This year’s Olympics in Paris are the first in history to have equal representation of female and male athletes.
Good luck to everyone!

Thanks for this Paul. A tiny tiny point to highlight. You have tagged both tracks as ‘Giorgio Moroder & Paul Engemann’. The B-side is just Giorgio Moroder.
Thank you so much for all the fantastic posts this week. You have done a great job, as usually. Have a great weekend Paul, Jeff and everyone else here.
You’re welcome, Daniel 🙂
Thanks, I had never heard of this song before.
You’re welcome, Andrew 🙂
With the Master, Giorgio Moroder and Paul Engemann how can you go wrong? And how appropriate too! Thank you Paul and enjoy your weekend! You too Jeff, Martika, Fred, DJ XREY and everyone else!
Have a great weekend!
I hope you are having a great weekend, Retro Hound 🙂
Never heard this before, it’s a great song! Great singer, slick and timeless positive message, great performance and style! Love the card tossing for effect! Thank you very much Paul!
You’re welcome, Gary 🙂
Hey Paul How fitting that I´m listening to your “Too Hot To Touch” post while I´m watching the Paris opening ceremony. I´m not a fan of this song, I must admit. The production could have been so much better but that´s only me. So now I´m listening to your “Reach Out” post from back then 🙂 Fun fact: Paris is a mere 300 miles from my place, and as Europe is so tiny I´d even drive through Belgium on my way there. 🙂 Have a great weekend, Paul and Jeff and everyone out there. Enjoy the weather and enjoy the… Read more »
Dear Song And Dance,
It is so great having you stop by. We miss you. Hope all is well and that you are happy. Always, take care of yourself. Please don’t stay away. Your presence means the world!!
Jeff
That’s so nice of you, dear Jeff. I’ve had quite some troublesome months but there’s light at the end of the tunnel so I hope to be a regular visitor – no, a friend amongst friends again.
All the best to you, too.
You’re welcome, Song And Dance 🙂
Giorgio without his iconic mustache! This cover art literally looks stitched together from their headshots from their agents! 😆. Can’t wait to give this a spin… 😎. Have a great weekend everyone!
Have a great weekend 🙂
Hey, Paul!! This is so anthem-esque and quite perfect for the launch of the Paris Olympic Games. It surely got me pumping and geared up for the weekend!!!
I hope you have a great weekend, Paul!! You too, Retro Hound, Martika, Daniel, ING, RtrHG, DJ XREY, Fred and all the rest!!!
Jeff
Same to you, Jeff!
Have a great weekend, Jeff 🙂
It’s amazing how people like Giorgio Moroder, Trevor Horn, and Max Martin, who were instrumental in shaping the musical landscape of the last few decades, are completely unknown to most people!
Thank you for another fantastic transfer, Paul!
Maybe a bit simplistic to only mention older white producers. In case you missed it, there were also numerous known female and non-white producers that also not only shaped but also innovated the musical landscape in the era you mention. Thank you very much :).
I agree with you, Martika. I hope your weekend is amazing 🙂
