Now’s the time to take hold of your dream
You are standing on the edge of history
So let the games begin
May the best man win
Give your all for all the world to see
Reach out
Reach out for the medal
Reach out
Reach out for the gold

Thanks for this Paul. A tiny tiny point to highlight. You have tagged both tracks as ‘Giorgio Moroder & Paul Engemann’. The B-side is just Giorgio Moroder.

Hey Paul How fitting that I´m listening to your “Too Hot To Touch” post while I´m watching the Paris opening ceremony. I´m not a fan of this song, I must admit. The production could have been so much better but that´s only me. So now I´m listening to your “Reach Out” post from back then 🙂 Fun fact: Paris is a mere 300 miles from my place, and as Europe is so tiny I´d even drive through Belgium on my way there. 🙂 Have a great weekend, Paul and Jeff and everyone out there. Enjoy the weather and enjoy the… Read more »

That’s so nice of you, dear Jeff. I’ve had quite some troublesome months but there’s light at the end of the tunnel so I hope to be a regular visitor – no, a friend amongst friends again.
All the best to you, too.

Giorgio without his iconic mustache! This cover art literally looks stitched together from their headshots from their agents! 😆. Can’t wait to give this a spin… 😎. Have a great weekend everyone!

It’s amazing how people like Giorgio Moroder, Trevor Horn, and Max Martin, who were instrumental in shaping the musical landscape of the last few decades, are completely unknown to most people!
Thank you for another fantastic transfer, Paul!

Maybe a bit simplistic to only mention older white producers. In case you missed it, there were also numerous known female and non-white producers that also not only shaped but also innovated the musical landscape in the era you mention. Thank you very much :).
