Listening to the “Remix/Edit” on headphones … I cannot imagine a proper CD sounding any better than this. Just absolutely perfect. Thanks for this.
These Fleetwood Mac gems were a dream come true for me! Thank you Paul! Do you think it will be possible to rip Fleetwood Mac’s “Gypsy” single edit? It’s a really rare gem as the version there, has slight differences in vocals and was never released on cd!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Most people don’t realize that FM were “pioneers” in the single remix – Over My Head, Rihannon, Say You Love Me, Fireflies, Sisters of the Moon, Think about Me. All before 1981 and especially since the first three songs were mainstays of radio (both single and album versions for a long time).
thank you! fantastic fm mx-have a nice week
I’m loving this Fleetwood Mac kick! Thank you Thank you! Great song…never really thought it was “single” material IMO…but a wonderful track.
Thanks, Paul! I love this one! 🙂 It’s good to have you back!
You’re welcome Dale 🙂
Knew it charted but never heard the remix!
Thanks for another gem, Paul!
You’re welcome Ric 🙂
This is NEW NEW NEW to me, what a surprise! How come I am not familiar with this remix? Another thank you Paul.
Now you are familiar Stefano. Hope you like it 🙂
I can’t wait to get home and grab this one! Thank you for a fantastic post! (you know, as usual 🙂 )
You’re welcome Conner I hope you like it. Have a good one my friend 🙂
Pray tell DJPaul, are you aware of the disasterous attempt made by Mick Fleetwood and Samantha Fox to host a live TV show together in 1989?
No wasn’t aware of that Jermajesty sounds interesting.
It’s quite notorious in the UK. It was for The Brit Awards, which was usually presented by a top DJ. Mick & Sam as presenters was one of those crazy ideas that was so mad it should work, except it didn’t. Neither had any presenting skills, and sadly for them anything that could go wrong on the night, did. The whole show was on YouTube a while back but seems to have been removed, all but for a few official clips. Luckily, one of my fave bits remains, the enthusiastic introduction of The Four Tops. I remember that! Went on as the worst hosting gig ever! A true disaster! LOL!
I can understand the appeal of Sam Fox for the horny lads, but why oh why Mick Fleetwood? One definitely not known for his looks or hosting skills.
I’ve been looking for this for a long time. Thank you. Thank you. All the best.
You’re welcome Kookoo 🙂
