I hope you are doing well. It is Thanksgiving time again here in the USA a time to eat, dive thanks, and spend time with friends and family. I will be taking this week off from posting to enjoy the holiday. I will return sometime around December 1. 2022. For those celebrating happy Thanksgiving.

It is October! time for our second fundraiser of 2022 this fundraiser is important because hosting fees are due now. The cost to host the site is $190 every two years which is basically like paying rent to keep this spot on the internet occupied by Burning The Ground.
For those that are new to the site, we have a fundraiser every six months to keep funds in the Burning The Ground PayPal account to go towards site hosting, website security, monitoring & protection, buying records that are requested, and maintaining equipment.
Our goal is to raise $1000.00 this will ensure that I will be able to pay website hosting $190 (every two years) as well as a yearly payment of $199 to Sucuri for website security, monitoring, & protection.
I do realize that we are living in a very difficult time so any amount that you can chip in will be very helpful. I also understand completely if you can’t give anything right now.
All you have to do to make your donation is click on one of the yellow DONATE buttons anywhere on the site. I use PayPal. It’s safe and secure, and you don’t need an account to make your contribution.

Hi everyone.
First, thank you all for your touching comments and emails regarding the passing of Olivia Newton-John. They have meant so much. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a rough week. My initial plans were to post all this week, and then my partner and I were planning a vacation next week, but then we got the sad news of Olivia’s passing on Monday and my world sort of stopped. I knew she was ill but did not expect this to happen so soon. Many of you have sent messages asking me to post ONJ material, but honestly, I cannot even listen to her music without getting emotional and crying. My love affair with Olivia began at the age of eight years old when my aunt took me to see “Grease” in the summer of 1978 after that I was Hopelessly Devoted and have been a massive fan ever since. Olivia was like a second mother guiding me through my life journey. I am so grateful for that.
At the moment, the plan going forward is to take my planned vacation next week while trying to get over this huge loss and then resume posting the following week, August 22. I will also be announcing another ONJ project that I have been honored to work on in the coming days.
