I remember this album I bought it after I listened to a few songs. Good dance music Teddy Riley and Boy George had some really good chemistry. Thanks for the upload. Do you think you can find the first single “Don’t Take My Mind On A Trip”?
I’m late to this thread. Sorry.
I’ve never heard of either of these songs, Paul. Thanks for the interesting post! The Scratch Mix samples/scratches the Dub Mix of Janet Jackson’s “What Have You Done For Me Lately” quite heavily/repeatedly. It’s interesting it’s not in the notes as Discogs.
Have a great day!
THIS THIS THIS IS AMAZING. I have wanted this for so long. Thank you so much, Paul. At some point, i would love the 7″ version too (because, you know, it’s me 🙂 ) Thanks for continuing to make us all happy!
You’re welcome, Conner I will se if I can locate the 7″ at some point 🙂
Bizarrely I have never heard of this track before. Another BTG surprise.
Glad you found a new gem Jermajesty 🙂
To be frank, I´ve never really cared very much for the a-side. It´s been ages that I listed to the scratch mix of Little Ghost, though. Brilliant to have it in DJ Paul quality. Thank you, Paulito.
“listened” 😉
I love the B-side it’s so creative and catchy. The A-side was not my favorite choice for a single 🙂
I so love that you post more than the obvious hits Paul. So many of my favorites, through you, weren’t big hits but with current ears, one has a new appreciation for records from my favorite decade. Boy George is fantastic, alone or with Culture Club, so I am excited about hearing this one. And I do like Todd Terry as a mixer too, so listening will be a treat. Thank you so much. Looking forward to more “new’ records from you.
Cheers!
Jeff
I think you will really LOVE the b-side Jeff 🙂
You’re so right Paul. I love the B-side. Very creative. I think it was very interesting that Jeremy Healy was involved. He’s from Haysi Fantayzee and I love that eccentric duo. And his partner Kate Garner was on Boy’s label too!! Excellent find Paul!
