“White Wedding Parts I & II (Shot Gun Mix)” is a single released in June 1985 by English rocker Billy Idol to promote the Remix Album “Vital Idol”. This single contains the original 1982 12″ version of “White Wedding (Part 1&2)” renamed “Shotgun Mix” for this 12″ and the “Vital Idol” LP. The 1985 re-issue of “White Wedding” reached #6 on the UK singles chart where it did not chart at all when originally released in 1983.
This 12″ also includes the exclusive “Mega-Idol Mix” a megamix which comprises “Flesh For Fantasy,” “Hot in the City” and “Dancing With Myself”.

Can anyone confirm that either this mix or the LP or single mix has extra lyrics not common to the others? It’s not stated on Wikipedia, and I don’t recall where I read about it long ago.
This is the same mix used on the “Vital Idol” remix album and the same version used on the original 12″ single. Some additional lyrics in Part 2 are not in the LP version.
Thanks, Paul! I have the Don’t Stop EP; 12” white vinyl of ”WW”, Vital Idol, and everything except ”WW Pt. 2″. Now I’m curious what the different lyrics are on “pt. 2”. I always assumed “pt. 2” was the 2nd half of the “Shotgun Mix”, so I never bought it.
