Wow. I remember this.
Billy Idol made a huge impression on me during high school, starting with Generation X and then his MTV transformation into a glamour boy.
I had all his music back then (and I’ve still got it). Where do the years go?
Thanks Paul, for this memory trigger.

FANTASTIC!!! I absolutely love Billy Idol remixes! They give his songs that extra oomph, much like the Def Leppard remixes from the Hysteria album! In my opinion, To Be A Lover (Mother Of Mercy Mix) is one of the greatest remixes of all time! But again, I love all his remixes! Rock music just sounds better, when the beats are emphasized, etc.
Thank you for another amazing vinyl transfer, Paul!

Ooh, another rock post!!! Admittedly I’m not as familiar with The Remix Fix of Catch My Fall, as it was done for the Vital Idol album in the UK, but who doesn’t love Billy Idol?!! I love the Special Mix done for the US market in 1984, so that’s what this is all about – digging deeper in their catalogs. Can’t thank you enough Paul!!

I was playing your rip of “White Wedding” earlier today, so this is a nice surprise to see another Billy Idol 12” gem.

Thanks Paul 🙂
