“I’m Your Man” is a song by singer-songwriter Barry Manilow, released as a single on RCA Records in July 1986. It peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 86. The music video was produced and edited by legendary New York DJ/VJ Scott Blackwell and was a favorite on the video show Night Flight at the time.
The song was also a huge hit in dance clubs peaking at #9 on the US Hot Dance/Club Play Chart. In the UK the single peaked at #96.

I always follow the producers/mixers on 80’s dance tracks. Mr. Rodriguez worked with Man Parrish and John Robie on the classic “Hip Hop Be Bop (Don’t Stop)” and other classics. Great post as always.

Even though everyone else prefers the “other” I’m Your Man in 1985, I agree this is such a guilty pleasure!
