When I bought this on RSD 2019 it didn’t come with a download code. So I tried to rip this myself but had problems to reduce some heavy background noises.
Happy to have these files now in the usual perfect DjPaulT quality! Thanks!

FANTASTIC rare post, my friend. I´m so thrilled with the hypnotic Tom Moulton remix of Cruel Summer. The groove, the bassline – awesome! Just a few weeks ago I bought a collection of unreleased Tom Moulton remixes including Madonna´s Borderline and Thelma Houston´s Don´t Leave Me This Way (!). Billy Ocean´s Carribean Queen is included too, clocking in at 10:34. What a way to start into the weekend, Paul. It´s 8:32 a.m. on Saturday morning over here and I have to stop myself from turning the volume up and up 😉 Have a great weekend, Paul, Jeff and everyone. The… Read more »

Didn’t know this existed. It’s very generous of you to share such a limited release, thank you.
I’ve been having a Nana’s week myself, listening to Cruel Summer over and over, plus they’ve been doing a few interviews/livestreams for the release of their autobigraphy, which I can’t wait to read. Have you ordered it Paul?

As a producer/remixer and vinyl collector based in Atlanta, I made this essential item a part of my discography a while back but it’s still sealed. Thanks so much for this fantastic edition.

Incredible remixes, Paul. A Tom Moulton mix is usually a guarantee of a fine time to be had by all but these remixes are all mighty fine. Many thanks for allowing us to experience this absolute treasure.

Wow! THANK YOU, Paul! Talk about hitting it out of the park today. LOVE this. I must say that I am intrigued that there is a vocal version of the Ewan Pearson Remix of Aie A Mwana on YouTube, yet the 12″ has a dub/instrumental version. I wonder what the thinking was behind that. Either way, this is a fantastic post – and the quality as always is impeccable. Thank you for sharing this gem!!!

Wow! I never knew this existed! I think my favorite mix here is the Venus (Leo Zero Remix) track! I really like the echo. Also, Tom Moulton! Great remixer (and somewhat little known as a remixer but is known as the inventer of the 12″ single as well as the Breakdown) folks…if you haven’t heard of his work before, look him up on Discogs. Lots of 70s and early 80s work! You can also check out his 4-cd collection Philadelphia International Classics The Tom Moulton Remixes.

Thanks so much, Paul! Have a great weekend!

Now this is what I call a phenomenal way to rush in the weekend!! We can always count on you DjPaulT for the rarities and excellent surprises you have in your massive collection. I am thrilled to have this very special release courtesy of you. Geez, Tom Moulton is on here and isn’t he the one who was first responsible for the first 12-inch version? I love these pioneers and their contributions to dance music.

Have a great weekend Paul and BTG fanatics. Hope it’s a restful and happy one!
