The album this was on was probably the best album Duran Duran never made. The new re-mastered 2CD +DVD set they put out a couple years is a must have for anyone.

HAHA!:) It was a superb album. It’s funny, my wife is Canadian, I’m a brit. There’s very little crossover in the albums we owned. Arcadia’s “So Red the Rose” was one of only two. (The other was Richard Marx “Repeat Offender”)

Election Day is superb. I have lots of different mixes, sourced from lord knows where, and they’re all terrific. Such a great song.

I love me some Duran Duran… but I sure wish that this side step had been explored for more than just 1 album. I think that Arcadia could have been bigger than Duran Duran… but that’s just my opinion. So Red The Rose is 1 of my all time favorite albums!! Thanks for taking the time to share this.

Thank you Paul, for this great song. Even it’s not Duran Duran, it surely sounds like it 🙂 Love Grace Jones’ part in this song.
