I have managed to download the file onto my iPhone! 🙂

Strangely, still not possible on either desktop or laptop but hey I have it! So great to hear a different take on a song I’ve known and loved so long…

I’ll stop spamming now. Have a great day everyone!

Yeh I have those ones. Not sure why this isn’t working for me. I’ve tried another PC as well, and waited patiently (it doesn’t take long to download (about 29 mg). Still get the same error message – when I look into the text something about %99.

Sorry to use you as helpdesk, I appreciate the help! 🙂

Dying to hear this because I’ve only ever heard the long album version…when I try to uncompress the file I get an error (‘file is corrupt, crc check has failed’). In fact I get the same error for the other items I tried to download. 🙁

Could some very kind person please sent me the mp3 at chris.beale@mac.com?

Cheers
Chris

Still struggling…

Now tried using another expander – it’s asking me for a ‘passphrase’?

What a fabulous 1-2-3 punch!!!
Thanks Paul!
Anything from 84 is almost always a winner – unless you post Lionel Richie’s Hello (LOL!)
I’m sure the response you got from these tells you what an awesome series this has been!
Definitely up there with your Wham! and Bananarama ones…and I hope Nik Kershaw will get a re-rip visit soon. That one got many of us excited as well.

Again another 12″ I’ve never heard/knew existed..

Just a shame that “Alf” has never been given the deluxe/expanded release.

Thanks as always Paul, for the rip! 🙂

Happy to post a link to my rip if you’d like to listen to it pre-purchase, Paul? Could call it market research purposes. 😉

It wasn’t released in the UK, as far as I know. When I bought mine it was a German (?) import copy.

Europe and US. Whilst the UK is in Europe this single was only released on the mainland, but not on our little island. I bought my copy new back in 1984 and it was definitely an import Maxi-Single in a cover with a spine, unlike the 3 proper UK releases that were in slim sleeves. Also, the catalogue number isn’t the same format as the other 3 singles which all start with TA.

Oh, man, Paul! What a treat! Yet another Ally rip! I’m in heaven! (Agree with Omar above – do you have the special dance remix of Ordinary Girl? Cat #: MOYET Q3? Superior than the normal 12″ mix!)

Your postings are such a godsend Paul. I mean, I always try to locate remixes and 12-inch versions commercially on CD to support all the artists I love, however, so many times this is impossible. Thankfully, there’s you and what you do day in and day out. These last three days have been nirvana for me! Thank you so much for these Alison Moyet mixes. They are hitting all the right sweet spots. Kind of like an early Valentine’s Day present. You are a brilliant human being DjPaulT. I am in Heaven!

Thanks for the Bliss!!!
