I hope you enjoyed the block of Pseudo Echo singles over the past couple of weeks. It was fun for me to work on these records, some of which I had not listened to in quite a while. Pseudo Echo deserves more attention, for sure. I will be doing more artist spotlights now and then in the future. If that is something you guys like, let me know in the comments.
I have had a few things going on this week, including appointments and some work going on at my house, so today I will not be posting. I will be back next week as usual with a whole new week of posts. In the meantime, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
“Don’t Go” is a song by Australian pop group Pseudo Echo. The song was released in October 1985 as the lead single from their second studio album, Love An Adventure (1985). The song became the band’s second top-five single, reaching number 4 on the Australian Kent Music Report.
In the United States, the song was not released as a single early pressings of the U.S. edition of the RCA LP “Love An Adventure” contained “Don’t Go” instead of “Funkytown” (a.k.a. “Funky Town”). The record company soon regretted this decision and allowed people who bought this version to exchange it for a reissue with “Funkytown” on it.
this is the only Australia 12″ single I have not yet posted.
