Hey Paul,
Thanks Paul for sharing. I hadn’t heard the songs on the b-side. 🙂

Love this 12″! One of Elton’s best and most underrated… I know you’ve gotten requests to repost this one so thank you Paul!!

Elton would be wise to release a DJ box for all of his 12″ remixes. But since that won’t happen I cant think of a better way to hear these mixes than from an actual DJ. I can’t say I’ve heard this mix before, nor the live version of Grapevine. Very Cool. Thank you Paul.

Hey Joey, I like what you said about Paul. Maybe, the buzz here on BTG could persuade Sir Elton to change his mind on releasing his 12-inch discography, a “DJ Box” as you called it. I really feel that Paul and his Burning The Ground site can convince labels, artists and fans alike to seek out product for more lucrative dealings. Because of Paul, I have been purchasing the artists’ releases. This is a great promotional tool and I appreciate Paul’s massive efforts in the support of the artistry of the 12-inch mix.

Interesting…I’ve never heard this song which is strange since it peaked at 18 in the USA. This is definitely 80’s Elton sound/style!!
Thanks for the great rip!

Excellent choice Paul. Unfortunately all Elton’s 12″ versions were omitted on the compilation Jewel Box. Thanks to you we get them here in pristine quality. Hope to see also a re-rip of the excellent Nobody wins 12″.
