Hi Paul. Thank you for a wonderful job that you do. I love the 80s and 90s and I’ve been enjoying your posts, of course. As a DJ myself, I understand the importance of rarities and remixes.
I wanted to get to your attention, though, that some files cannot be uncompressed. Could you check and upload them again? It’s the somekindoflover16.rar file under the FLAC button here on the Jody page. And the same is happening with 1990flashback16.rar and the djpaultnewyear.rar under MEGA.
Thank you so much.

LOVE LOVE LOVE JODY! THANK YOU! I wonder what happened last year…I thought she had a plan to release seasonal EPs …but we just got the Winter Nights EP and The Healing (Redtop Remix is fabulous) …she’s had some nice guest spots the last few years too! More Wat-tage!

Yes, I guess it did, but I was SO looking forward to them! I wish she’d release an EP with the original version of ORIGINAL w/ her new version of Shalamar…I never got the regular version and it has disappeared into the ether leaving only a SoundCloud remix….ehihc did make a mixtape of mine, but how I feel incomplete…LOL

This is awesome – thank you!

I particularly love all the tracks Jody did with Andre Cymone.

(also the track she did with the one and only George Michael was also exceptional).

Thanks for the great rip, Paul! I actually pulled out the Don’t You Want Me acappella mix 2 nights ago to re-create the scratch effect from Seduction’s “Two To Make It Right (The Cole-Clivilles Dub Mix)” which begins at 0:42. It really would be nice to get that 12″ from you, by the way. <wink> <wink> 🙂

Thanks so much again!

Knowing how much you love Jody makes this post quite the treat for all of us. And WOW, what a jam packed twelve this is too! Must have taken a long time to complete as we know you’re quite the perfectionist! Ms. Watley’s dance music records are so beloved amongst us fans. Thanks Paul for all your hard work!

“More Cowbell.”
