“Two People” was the third single from American singer Tina Turner’s sixth solo album Break Every Rule. The song was written and produced by Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, the team behind “What’s Love Got to Do with It” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero“, and was a Top 20 hit in most European countries and #1 in Spain.

The single reached number thirty on the US Billboard Hot 100 the week of January 10, 1987. It performed better on the Adult Contemporary and R&B charts, reaching twelve and eighteen, respectively.
