Eurythmics – Who’s That Girl? (US 12″)

BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1983

A. Front

“Who’s That Girl?” is a 1983 song recorded by the British pop duo Eurythmics. It was written by bandmembers Annie Lennox and David A. Stewart and produced by Stewart. “Who’s That Girl?” was the first single released in the UK from Eurythmics’ third album Touch.

The track is a heavily-synthesized ballad in which Lennox takes the role of a suspicious woman demanding to know with whom her lover has been seen associating. The song became Eurythmics’ third Top 10 single in the UK singles chart, peaking at number three. In the United States, “Who’s That Girl?” was released as the second single from the album, following the Top 10 hit “Here Comes the Rain Again”. It climbed to number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100.
