This 12″ is a guilty pleasure for me, I have always loved it. I do not know much about it’s chart performance but I can tell you that everytime I played this record it was an instant hands in the air floor filler. Katie Kissoon was born on March 11, 1951 in Trinida but raised in England. Katie was part of a duo group with her brother Mac Kissoon in the 70′s.
Katie Kissoon’s career has continued as backup singer for such notables as Van Morrison (1978 and later), Elkie Brooks (1982), Eric Clapton (1986 and later), Roger Waters (since 1984), Elton John (1985), Eros Ramazzotti (1990), George Harrison (1991), Pet Shop Boys, (1994) and Robbie Williams (2002 and later).
