Most everyone who has followed Burning The Ground for any length of time knows that the month of October and Halloween are a pretty big deal. So I thought it fitting to kick of my yearly Halloween fest withis this delicious treat from 1984.
Patricia Eva “Bonnie” Pointer (born July 11, 1950) is an American R&B and disco singer, most notable for being the next-to-youngest member of the 1970s and 1980s family music group, The Pointer Sisters. She scored several moderate solo hits after leaving the Pointers in 1977, including “The Beast In Me” from the 1984 film and soundtrack “Heavenly Bodies”. The single charted in the US #31 danc and #87 R&B.
This single would be Bonnie’s last solo charting single in the US.
