Happy Holidays! I thought it would be nice to kick off the holiday season with this great Japanese only release. I have many treasures in my collection but this CD has always been one of my favorites. I am very pleased that that this year I am able to offer it to you in flac lossless format and include full artwork. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Feed The World!
Band Aid were a British and Irish charity supergroup, founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in order to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia by releasing the record “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” for the Christmas market. The single surpassed the hopes of the producers to become the Christmas number one on that release.
This rare 1985 Japan only CD release features some of the prominent names that were involved in the original 1984 Band Aid Project. The CD also features the full 12″ Mix of “Do They Kow It’s Christmas” as well as the “Single Version” and “Feed The World” which were all featured on the original 12″ Single.
