When I worked at my old college radio station, MCA records would give us promos and my friend swiped this record for himself. The mix was fantastic and it took me years to obtain this mix on compact disc. I’m just so happy to have it now courtesy of you Paul because your rips are so scintillating and phenomenal!! Plus, I’m really jazzed to hear the dub of “Reach The Beach” on the flip-side!!

Thank you for your hard work, always!!! Enjoy your weekend and everybody here too!!!

I don´t think I´ve ever heard the long version of “One Thing”. I like its relentlessness, chuffing and puffing on like a train. Like Jeff I was very excited to listen to RTB dub mix and it´s bloody FABULOUS. Thank you Paul, love it.

thank you again paul for highlighting a very underrated band.

this song, red skies, saved by zero, are we ourselves are pretty much all people know,
along with secret separation… but they have a lot more to offer.

people should check out their albums, and they are still going on today.

i love this song, this remix, and the whole album, reach the beach.

check out the 20th anniversary remaster:
    https://www.discogs.com/Fixx-Reach-The-Beach/release/676552

it has this remix, saved by zero remix, deeper and deeper remix and a b-side.

    ——

also, i made a remix of ‘reach the beach’ using the dub here, i’ll post it
    if someones interested…

again thanks paul for all your hard work, and sharing these great tracks.
