A trillion thanks for this one Paul!! This single was my first discovery into the world of Mr. William Orbit. I’ve always loved electronic records, coming off discoveries of disco jams such as Giorgio Moroder’s “Chase” and his production of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” to Telex’s “Moskow Diskow” and early electro records like C-Bank’s “One More Shot” and other John Robie synth productions. This “Prepare To Energize” with those great edits in the beginning and dizzying and driving synth lines made this one of my favorite 80’s records. Gosh, I love when you surprise me with records from my own collection that somehow resonate with you too. Again, I feel validated for liking what I like. And here you are, a man of impeccable tastes, presenting favorites that mean the world to me. I am overwhelmed Paul.

    Thank You Most Sincerely,

    Jeff

    Thanx for this one!
IMHO both 1984 versions of “Don’t Look Now” and “Prepare To Energize” (released in UK and Netherlands only) are slightly better. But that’s a matter of (personal) taste 🙂
