Now this is fabulous Paul!! I love when you bring your classic rips back to our ears with a new re-rip using your awesome audio equipment. I’m really excited because of the instrumental. I see that’s it’s longer, so maybe there’s interesting things in it. Always been a Teena Marie fan and this is such a fantastic song. Many thanks!!

Just to chime in with the discussion concerning the Dead Or Alive “Sophisticated Boom Box” 19 disc retrospective, I haven’t received mine yet either. Maybe around November 14th, or so it says concerning Amazon UK. I am really excited about this release, however, it makes me ache because of the errors that run all the way through it. I so wish our DjPaulT was involved with the project, just to be on quality control. But, I am looking at the brighter side of things in that the label promises to make good on the faulty discs. Anything to celebrate Pete’s contribution to music and all. He’ll always be celebrated.

A boombox is another word for a ghetto-blaster but is sorta generic for anything portable and Loud.
As for that DOA ‘boxset, i’m sure it will be ‘online’ before too long.
