PAUL!! You certainly have the greatest knack in choosing the ultimate records to post!! I…..AM……SO……EXCITED!!! Can you hear me screaming!! I love this record tremendously. And here you go, posting all the mixes too. I loved Underworld in this incarnation. Sure, I loved Freur and their “Doot Doot” and later their MASSIVE “Born Slippy” and “Pearls Girl” but I absolutely LOVE this version of the band. Thank you for dusting this off and polishing it to jewel like status (like you always do!!). You thrill me beyond words. This and the other single you posted awhile back are my faves by them. You, once again, pull-out-all-the-stops!! Phew!!

    Deep Bow of Gratitude!!

Good stuff… A band that truly changed with the times.
And that song Doot Doot… That one reminds me of early Tears For Fears.

Thanks very much, Paul. Love this song (especially the 12″ version). Another record I own, but will happily grab your version for the great sound quality. Thanks for dropping the awesome, and on a Tuesday no less. (Okay, I don’t really know what that means either, but that’s what my fingers typed).

    DjPaulT Reply:

You’re welcome miran0019. Hey sometimes you just gotta let your fingers do the typing 🙂

  6. Don Says:

Oh wow! Another classic Sire 12-inch. Those two “Underworld v. 1” albums are great despite the fact that the band has disavowed them. 🙂

This gives me hope that we might one day see rips of a couple of other overlooked Sire maxi singles: namely Figures on a Beach’s “Accidentally 4th Street (Gloria)” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.” Good times!

    DjPaulT Reply:

I will see what I can do about the requests Don 🙂

Thank you very much for posting this Paul! I have the CD Single but it only contains the 7″ and 12″ mixes. Great to hear the b-side and dubs again…

Any chance that you have the infamous Mother Earth 12″ single by Underworld?
