Paul, thanks so much for these UB40 singles. I really don’t know much of their discography so you oblige us with the perfect forum to check out some of their best. Thank you for all the care that’s involved with the presentation of it all. You are quite the special fellow!!

Lovely. I used to own this one, but it disappeared from my “field collection” back in the 80’s. Never figured out who nicked it. Btw, any chance you have the Little Baggariddim EP?

Do you know how happy you make me Paul. UB40 released so many great 12 inch singles between 1980 and 1987. Most of them found their way onto cd compilation but not this one. I hope you’re gonna continue posting more of their 12 inch singles. That is if you have more of them of course. Some 12 inches come to mind. Love Is All Is All Right, I’m Not Fooled, The Pillow, Maybe Tomorrow, Don’t Slow Down, I Won’t Close My Eyes, So Here I Am, Riddle Me and more. A shame that the band don’t release these great 12 inches. But then you come on this blog and you see the second UB40 maxi appearing. You’re a hero and i hope more is gonna come because these extended mixes of them are hard to find.

Another that doesn’t seem to be on my hard drive. Many thanks i can’t help wondering what other gems i’ve missed over the years. When and what was your first post? Was it a Duran Duran single?

I’m not really sure Neil there have been a couple of reincarnations of BTG I started on blogger/blogspoy way back in 2007 then moved to wordpress in March 2010. In 2012 I started paying for hosting which is where we are currently.

Hi Paul – so glad to see these UB40 popping up again, as i missed them back in 2010. Any chance your I Got You Babe promo will get a new rip as well? All 3 were on my Discogs wantlist (as well as most of the others from this era), so it’s nice to have such great sounding transfers of them – far better than i would ever be able to do 🙂

keep up the great work, it is very much appreciated!

ps Not sure if you have any more Sade 12″s from her first 2 albums – would love to hear them too….
