I absolutely love the uniqueness to your Burning The Ground site Paul. I’m so relieved that you are multi-faceted and that you love and honor a huge spectrum of musical genres. Sure, I love the obscure and the underground and more alternative songs you post, but I am forever about the guilty pleasures too that have leaked through the cracks and/or are ignored by radio stations today. It is a revelation to have you disc jockey all sorts of records for our ears. It’s great, in so many cases, to re-hear these songs again under your careful consideration of quality and audiophile fidelity you bestow on them. Hey, in most cases, we’re hearing them the way they were meant to be heard, from a killer turntable and a killer technician exposing us to all the frequencies and fidelities the artists and producers intended for us to hear. I love this labor of love you perform Paul, for all of us. No compression, no brickwalling and no distortion. You expose us to levels of sonic grandeur Paul and I’m stunned and spellbounded each and every time.

    Your fantastic!!!

Another great post Paul! The Jets has a lot of mixes exclusively released on 12″ vinyl only. I was wondering if you have the UK 12″ single. It has different mixes – the PWL Phil Harding Remix and by Dakeyne (DMC dj i think) whose mix is called Crush. Thanks again.

  8. Jonathan Says:

Thanks for this. Someone above mentioned exclusive UK mixes: I really hope you have these; I remember when “Crush On You” came out there was a standard 12″, and the remix 12″ followed a few weeks later (and it was blinding). Long lost, would love to hear it again….
