You elevate the mood of me Paul to such high levels!! Gosh, how I adore these postings. Thank you for filling out my music collection with only vinyl releases. You are stellar in choosing pop favorites that I wasn’t aware there was a 12-inch for. I appreciate you and your talent so very much. This is so excellent of you.

  9. Ally Says:

Hi Paul, thanks. I have this 12″ and remember that the two parts of the dance mix play without a break. (The second part starts on the beat left off from the first part.) If you could post one file that contains these two parts with no break in between, that would be excellent.

    DjPaulT Reply:

Hi Ally the 12″ does have a very brief gap about 50 seconds. I always leave the singles the way they arte on vinyl.

    Ally Reply:

Hi Paul, the gap isn’t 50 seconds, or even 5 seconds. Part 1 ends on beat one of a bar, you wait for beats two and three, and Part 2 starts on beat four. It makes for an extended version of over 8 minutes, with exactly two beats of silence. Give it another listen. 😉
