Oh Paul!! How my youth returns to me because of you. I so remember The Quick. Their “Rhythm Of The Jungle” was a big time radio hit out of New York City at the time. I do remember this one as well. These tracks are so great and it’s because of you that they have new life and new — BETTER THAN EVER FIDELITY — for today’s listening and coveting audience. I so admire and adore your tastes in music my friend. And you are so nice to honor a lot of our requests. I know this is the season of giving and you are all that and more. Thank you “Saint Rip” for all of these divine presents!!

    Stumbled across your site today.

The Quick was a big deal in Oz.

Most of their songs charted in various Aussie states.

One I remember most was “Hip, Shake, Jerk.”

    Looking forward to seeing more.

Awesome! So, then, it’s only fitting that you should next post (The World Don’t Need) Another Lover by Giant Steps (the Quick’s next incarnation). 🙂

Young Men Drive Fast And Die Quick!
    Couldn’t resist, LOL.
Completely unknown to me, but a respectable synth-pop song, just right on for the time when
    it was made.
