What a constellation BTG is Paul. You showcase all these gorgeous stars each and everyday! Thanks for turning out these early Alisha singles with all of their mixes. I just love her back catalog and I am tickled pink that she appears on your site sounding better than ever. I adore this song by her and I can’t tell you how pumped I am to hear the dub version here which features the editing skills of Tony and Albert, aka The Latin Rascals. Boy, Paul, your site has the best “edit-ography” around. So many exquisite tracks with exceptional edits are all here. Thanks for preserving our dance music history Paul. It’s an education to the young, a reminder for us who remember, plus an inspiration to all the future DJs, remixers and producers out there in the world. Plus, for those of us who might have “cloudy” versions of these records, your talents make it possible to here these discs the way they are meant to sound. Kudos upon Kudos Paul. You’re the best!!

P.S. I am so happy that your fundraiser went really well. I can only imagine what’s in store for future re-rips and remasters!!

Thank you Jeff I had never really heard these mixes until I ripped this record. Really good stuff here. Hugs 🙂

I feel a bit foolish Paul. Only Albert Cabrera is here, sans Tony Moran on the razor blade tape editing. So sorry about that. It’s just that Albert and Tony are usually together when the edits happened in the early day. I just got way-too excited. I just can’t wait to get on home to hear it all.

What a gorgeous job you did on this single Paul. I love how it shimmers and glimmers with those bell-like keyboards. Oh, and that dub is terrific. I love these electro-pop songs. Sort of a ballad with a beat. Reminded me so much of other records I love like Information Society’s “Repetition”, Book Of Love’s “I Touch Roses” and Yazoo’s “Only You.” Thanks Paul again for true splendor.

  3. Tony Says:

Much thanks for posting the B-Side, Paul – I’ve never heard the Radio Edit & Dub Version before! (I can’t wait for All Night Passion) 🙂

You’re welcome Tony. Still waiting for “All Night Passion” to arrive in the mail 🙂

    Great Alisha posts.
Do you have Boys Will Be Boys (5:50 Shep Pettibone Extended Mix)?
    Thanks for the excellent job.
