Oh what a great choice for the beginning of the new week!

I was waiting for the return of great remixers (such as Justin Strauss
here with the editing of Chep Nunez, one of the best ever!!!) – (RIP)
any chance to have also Pia Zadora, Shakespear’s Sister, The Jets or others remix
    with his incredible touch?

    many thanks DJ Paul.

Paul, like BE.D12” above, I echo his sentiments. It’s great to have remixes here featuring the talents of Justin Strauss and Chep Nunez too. I love them both, but I have a soft spot for the editing talents of Mr. Nunez. Burning The Ground is like this incredible showcase for the Edit Kings like Chep, The Latin Rascals, Greg Royal, Carlos Berrios and Oh-Oh-Omar Santana. As mentioned by me on responses to your posts, you are awesome because you list FULL CREDITS on the twelves you rip. It’s been such a shame, I’ve noticed, that if an edited production makes it onto a compact disc, the editor’s name(s) is left off of the credits and liner notes. Paul, you really care about the who’s who of dance music. Another reason why you’re so special to me. Amen!!

This is a great way to start the week. It maybe Fall, but this one feels like a Summer record. I love it. Looking forward to the remix and, of course, those E-D-I-T-S!!

    Your’re the best!!!

Thank you Jeff. I was needing to post this request for a while buy got caught up in my Associates series. I am so glad to finally have it posted. As you mentioned some of the best in the editing field are represented here 🙂

    Jeff Reply:

I don’t know how you do it all Paul. You’re postings are tremendous. I love The Associates postings because you’re giving a lot of the community here the best representation of their 12-inch discography that have been neglected over time. It’s so nice that you’ll be completing what you have. And boy, I just love when you present records that have crazy edits on them. I ADORE your tastes. They surely run the gamut. Just to think, you post disco classics, alternative, new wave and even, Karen Finley!! You are to be celebrated my friend!! Thank goodness we all have you. You are PHENOMENAL!!
