Bless your soul DjPaulT!! I can’t believe it!! Whoa, a double dose of Daryl Hall! I am so jazzed that you did this song. Gosh, what don’t you have!?! You are a force of nature and I am in total A-W-E!!! I can’t pull my chin off the floor. You are so good to us and I am stupefied with pleasure!! I love these multiple artist spotlights Paul! I hope you will continue to pull out all the stops…..ALWAYS!! I am so lucky to have you in my life. You are better than all those streaming services because you have the best music on the planet, if not the galaxy!!

    Blissed-out thanks!!

P.S. I hope maybe one day you’ll re-rip your tremendous version of “Out Of Touch” because that video mix is the best version of that song. And with your incredible equipment, I can only imagine how it might sound. Either way, I am just so happy with all of your choices Paul. You are really a wunderkind!

    DjPaulT Reply:

You are very welcome Jeff your comments always make me very happy. I am thankful to know you as well. I will see what I can do about “Out Of Touch” 🙂

  4. Stefano Says:

Wow, I never got the chance to buy this US only 12 inch back then. So I’m very happy you are posting this one, thank you verrrry much. Great remix.
Would you happen to have ‘Someone Like You’ too?

    DjPaulT Reply:

You’re welcome Stefano. Sorry this is all the solo material that I have.

  6. DLG Says:

Thanks for this! Almost 30 years since it came out, this album (Three Hearts) remains the last great album by Daryl or Daryl+John, for me at least.

For those that like the Daryl Hall tracks so graciously featured here, one of the best songs from that same LP was I Wasn’t Born Yesterday. Ironically it didn’t do anything as a single, even though the single has a much better mix than the LP version. For those that haven’t heard it, here is the {relatively-crappy) video:

That 7″ / radio mix has thus far not been released on CD. Hopefully someday…

  7. Song_And_Dance Says:

Several different pressings out there, obviously. The sleeve of the record I own appears to be identical but the record plays

    SIDE A:
Foolish Pride (Extended Remixed Version) 7:24!
Foolish Pride (Edited Remixed Version) 3:45!

    SIDE B:
    Foolish Pride (Acadubella Version) 4:30
    Foolish Pride (Dub Version) 7:30!
What’s Gonna Happen To Us 5:38
