Prefer this to the album version.

Thanks as always for the rip, Paul! 🙂

    Me too Ex15 🙂

These 12-inch rock mixes are pure gold Paul. I can’t help but rejoice because you have so much passion for the extended rock mix. Remixing was so much better back then. Today, it’s more like acapellas thrown over a new rhythm track with no integrity whatsoever to the artists’ vision. Ah, those were the days. Thanks for your continued crusade to bring these great records back into the light of day. PLEASE keep doing all you can to make our audio dreams a reality. You rock pal!!!

    DjPaulT Reply:

Thank you Jeff. I agree with you about today’s remixes they all sound the same to me boring with no creativity. I miss the days when a remix was really something to look forward to 🙂

That makes three of us. I blame easily accessible loop libraries and VSTs – and tonedeaf artless record company marketing gurus.

Thank you, Paul, for another forgotten gem, one that was truly never given the chance on the charts and pop radio.

Will you be ripping any other Foreigner 12-inch singles, Paul? Please “say you will”. 😉

  6. Stefano Says:

Ah Paul, it’s almost more than I can bear. You re-ripped all the previous Foreigner 12 inches which were on my re-rip wishlist + all that Pat Benatar (too on my wishlist). Leaves me longing for ‘Promises’ (but that’s no news) and those excellent Elton John 12 inches, which deserve an upgrade from OM10 to OM30.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and I ain’t quoting Stevie Wonder).

    DjPaulT Reply:

You’re very welcome Stefano. I promise you “Promises” at some point.

Aloha Paul… I’m having a bit of a problem opening this one.
    I’ve tried 3 different de-compressors.
Tried re-downloading both flac versions and the mp3 version.
And have tried both typing in and pasting the password.
Also, tried shutting the computer down and restart, just in case it was a problem with the machine (you never know)

    Any suggestions?

    DjPaulT Reply:

Randy the only suggestion I have is to make sure you let the file download completely before trying to extract it. Seems like it’s just on your end have not had any other people with issues.

    puffinrandy Reply:

Hmmm… not sure what is going on. I know from my download monitor that the file for the mp3 is supposed to be 42.8MB… but when it downloads it’s only 3KB. I even went back re-downloaded the other 2 by Foreigner and they did the same thing, when I downloaded ’em the other day they came in fine.
I’ll see what I can do, since it’s on my end.
