Hey Paul. Do you have by any chance the “Money’s Too Tight To Mention” 12 inch? It features a b-side that’s never been released on cd called “Every Bit Of Me”. I agree with the others. The 12″ singles from 1985 to 1989 were amazing and it would be great if you post his discography like you did with Wham!, Sheena Easton. Simply Red 12″ are very hard to come by.

By the way I am not able to log in using the supplied name and password, judging by the comments it might be a problem on my end.
Anyway if there is anything you can do to help me solve why it’s not working just let me know.

Hi Paul sorry I don’t have that 12″ at this time as more donations come in I will buy a copy. As for the username and password no other problems reported. Make sure you are typing it all lower case and correctly. I hope that helps please let me know.

Hey Paul, thanks for this offering from Simply Red. I’m not familiar with this track but I can’t wait to listen to it later on when I get home. I love the fact that the remix is done by Steve Thompson & Michael Barbiero. Thanks to you, I’m loving their mixes so much. I was aware of them back in the ’80’s and I do have some of their 12-inches, but your Burning The Ground site has quite the plethora of remixes by them. You are so amazingly cool Paul with your tastes and generosity. I’m humbled in and out every day. Thanks. Question, when you buy your singles, do you sometimes purchase them based on who was involved? Not just the artist, but the mixmeisters who bring their A-Game to the releases? I did this all the time way back when I was buying 12-inch dance discs. Oh what memories. I have so many chills of appreciation for what you do. You are AWESOME!!!

    Truly grateful!!!

    Jeff

Hello Jeff a lot of factors go into my record buying, I do buy based on producer/remixer etc. but I am also a sleeve buyer if it has a cool sleeve or a sexy one I will probably buy it lol.

Paul I am uploading a Continuous WAV recording of the Menudo LP 1985.
I believe you have your own methods for cleaning and such so you decide how you want to prepare it for yourself.
Please give me a private email since I do not want to post the MEGA link in the comments.
Thanks for all the marvelous stuff you always put up and if there is anything I have in my library that you need just ask me and I will check for it.
    Cheers from Canada.

Thank you very much for this post!
Few 80’s artists can carry the load of their success over generations like they. Simply Red, i have a soft spot for ever since Money. Warm, well constructed pop in a broad sense. Singles, albumtracks, all fine pieces of work. Some mixes made the songs a little too flat, dynamiccallyi mean, but some are still among the best in dance and production history.
My favorite is Fake, remixed by Kupper. Hint hint 😉
