Wow Paul, a great double dose of Apollo 9! Thank you!
I only have the Orbit Mix on 12″ but not the Splashdown one. This was released during the last quarter of 1984 and I remember it debuting with Prince (Purple Rain), Bronski Beat (Why), David Bowie (Blue Jean), Freddie Mercury (Love Kills)and UB40 (If It Happens Again).
    I love 1984! And I love BTG!

DJPaulT, Thanks for posting this rare Ant classic. I had an inferior 128k version I was looking forward to upgrading to your superior 320k version. However I realized after I downloaded it that the (Splashdown Re-Mix) doesn’t sound like the one I had. My version sounds like the instrumental here, with vocals of course, and is 7:17 in length which is close to the 7:20 time listed on the back cover. Since your version is 6:47 is it possible your vinyl features the wrong remix? I also listened to the Orbit Mix and that was not the one I had either. Thanks again for all your work on running an amazing site!!
