Excellent! Thanks Paul. My 12 inch is beat up too much to get any good recording off it.

    I’m here! 😀
This is such a catchy funky number from Wa Wa Nee. I remember being hooked when it debuted on AT40.
Like Icehouse, they are another Aussie band that can boast of different remixes for the International Market.
I absolutely love these Phil Harding mixes.
    Thanks for your rip, Paul.

Wow, what horrible music. Generic synthpop, but no hooks or catch to my ears. Wikipedia learned me he has ties with Stock Aitken and Waterman…says it all, ha. Prefer more solids by The Clash. But hey who am i to diss..never made a hitrecord myself…

  8. Ray in Australia Says:

This is the first time I’ve ever heard these mixes… I must say I’m pretty surprised 🙂
I’m mostly surprised that Phil Harding did little to change the track from it’s original Australian mix. I’m so used to PWL creating a completely new backing track and making it full-on dance pop.
I can hear Paul’s voice has been given extra reverb and some “impact” sounds that hit on the 4-bar or 8-bar… Nice extra ‘oomph’ but not too different from the original.
Thanks Paul for uploading this one 🙂 I am very pleased to hear it at last!

Another great choice, had this 12″ since it came out and had forgotten how much I liked it, one of the few records in my collection that has gathered dust.

You just did something here ultra fabulous here. You just reminded me of a song that I have totally forgotten until now. For some reason I have forgotten this group so I had to look the song up and boom, I’m transported back to the good ol’ “sugar free” days. I know I have not been so active these last few weeks but rest assure I am always amazed as to what you post on here. Thank you Dj PaulT and have a good week ahead. 🙂
