Great track by Dan Hartman! Very happy to have the instrumental version in Paulity.
I always found it strange that the next single ‘Name Of The Game’ didn’t do as well as it should have been. That 12 inch got an awesome Chris Lord-Alge remix.
Thanks for this excellent post. More Dan Hartman is always welcome!

I like this song. It does sound a bit like his song from Fletch (“Get Out of Town”), which has some hilariously bad lyrics. I Can Dream About You is my favorite, followed by his late 70s disco stuff (some of which you already posted). Thanks!

    DjPaulT Reply:

I love the Fletch tune Mike actually I pretty much like all of Hartmans music it’s a shame he no longer with us.

    Yes, RIP Frankie. 🙁
Dan’s music is always so uplifting and positive. This is another of the prime examples.
I Can Dream About You was such a massive slow-burner that I thought this follow-up would be at least a Top 20 pop Hit. At least it got to #1 on the Club Play charts.
Thanks for another fine rip, Paul!
